The popular manga by Adachitoka Noragami Stray God will conclude in January 2024, according to an official announcement made by Kodansha Comics' monthly Shonen magazine.

The manga tells about the story of Yato, a homeless god who works odd jobs for people in exchange for a small 1 Japanese yen.

As part of his beneficial mission, Yato comes across Hiyori, a human who can pass between the worlds of the living and the dead, and Yukine, a lost spirit.

After Kodansha Comics published Noragami in 2010, the manga series attracted a devoted fan base, leading to an anime adaptation by the legendary Studio Bones (known for Fullmetal Alchemist as well as My Hero Academia).

As Japanese manga is first published as chapters in a series of magazines, but Kodansha has not yet announced the final volume as a compiled book.

Studio Bones produced a two-season anime based on Adachitoka's manga, the first of which debuted in the winter of 2014 and the second, known as Noragami Aragato, in the fall of 2015. Two stage plays were given to Noragami in January 2016 and February 2017.

With its amazing animation, memorable opening theme songs, and, of course, the hilarious behaviors of Yato, Hiyori, and Yukine, Studio Bones did a fantastic job adapting the anime.

It has been 8 years since Studio Bones animated the second season, but we are still holding out hope for a third season and you can watch both seasons of Noragami on Crunchyroll.
